Hunger Is Not A Game

Fighting Hunger In Our District - We are collecting nonperishable food locally for the Delco Interfaith Food Assistance Network. We currently have food collection boxes in the following libraries:

March Meeting Notes
Our March meeting was yesterday, and here are the notes:
Hunger Is NOT A Game - Hunger Is Not A Game is the HPA's Hunger Games campaign. We are working to bring down the Capitol as well as fight hunger in our own District. In non-HG speak, we are working to fight hunger globally as well as locally. For the global part, the HPA is working with Oxfam's GROW Campaign. More on this soon!
For the local part, we will be hosting a food drive. More on this soon as well.
Knitting Projects - Our chapter knitting projects are going strong. We are knitting "snuggles" for the Snuggles Project (http://www.snugglesproject.org) as well as afghan squares for Warm Up America (http://www.warmupamerica.org).
Dumbledore's Yarny - If you aren't able to join in our chapter's knitting projects but want to do something similar, check out Dumbledore's Yarny. Dumbledore's Yarny is an online chapter of the HPA that does knit and crochet projects. Right now they are making blankets for Project Linus. Their website is http://facebook.com/groups/dumbledoresyarny.
