Equality For The Win

September Meeting Notes

Here are the notes from yesterday's meeting:

Magical Acts of Kindness - The meeting had a Magical Acts of Kindness theme as we wrapped up this round of our knit/crochet projects for the Snuggles Project and Warm Up America.  Thank you to everyone who helped us make things for these wonderful causes!  We also wrote thank you letters to service-people as part of Operation Write Home.

Equality FTW - The HPA's annual fundraiser, Equality FTW, kicks off next week and runs for about a month.  More info on this soon. ;)

Next Meeting - Our next meeting will be Saturday October 4.

Our September meeting is coming up this Saturday, September 13.  If you have any completed projects for the Snuggles Project or Warm Up America, please bring them to the meeting.  This meeting's theme will be Magical Acts of Kindness, so I hope to see you on Saturday.

August Meeting Notes

Our August meeting was yesterday, and here are the notes:

Cards For Hospitalized Kids - Thank you to everyone who helped us make cards at the meeting!  These cards really mean a lot to the kids who receive them.

Knit/Crochet Projects - We are making snuggles for the Snuggles Project (http://www.snugglesproject.org) as well as afghan squares for Warm Up America (www.warmupamerica.org).  I will be dropping off the snuggles at the SPCA and mailing the squares to Warm Up America at the end of September, so if you have any finished projects, please bring them to the Sept. meeting.  If your projects are not finished, we will most likely be doing another drop off/mailing in a few months, so no worries!

Next Meeting - Our next meeting will be Saturday, Sept. 13.

August Meeting Reminder

Our August meeting is coming up this Saturday, August 9.  Since we have been having so much fun making cards for hospitalized kids, we will work on this a bit more.  We will also be brainstorming some project ideas for the fall.  Hope to see you there!
