Our May meeting was this morning, and here are the notes:
Operation Write Home - The majority of the meeting was spent writing letters for Operation Write Home! (http://www.operationwritehome.org)
Knit/Crochet - We are excited to share that we were able to donate some of our Snuggles to the SPCA this past week! We are going to continue these projects through the summer though. We are making snuggles for the Snuggles Project (http://www.snugglesproject.org) as well as afghan squares for Warm Up America (http://www.warmupamerica.org).
June Meeting - Our June meeting will be Saturday June 8th.

Accio Books!
Thank you to everyone who donated to our book drive! We collected 170 books, which we distributed to Fair Acres Nursing Home, Rocky Run Y, and Read Indeed.

April Meeting Notes
Our April meeting was this morning, and here are the notes:
Accio Books - This is going well so far! We are doing well with collecting books and plan on donating them locally to Fair Acres Nursing Home and the Rocky Run Y. We are also planning an Accio Books house party for Sunday, April 28th.
Knit/Crochet - We are making snuggles for the Snuggles Project (http://www.snugglesproject.org) as well as afghan squares for Warm Up America (http://warmupamerica.org).
Next Meeting - Our next meeting will be Saturday, May 4th.

February Meeting Notes
Our February meeting was this past Saturday, and here is the recap:
Valentines - We did Valentines for the residents of Fair Acres Nursing Home. If you were not able to make it to the meeting, feel free to make Valentines (or any type of card) for someone you think needs it!
Not In Harry's Name - This is a campaign of the Harry Potter Alliance that has been going on for quite a while. It is an effort to get chocolate frogs and other Harry Potter themed chocolate made fair trade. A third-party report has given WB/the company they use for their chocolate an F in ethics. WB says that this report is incorrect, that they have their own report stating that everything is fine. When asked, WB refuses to show anyone this report. Therefore, this version of the campaign is called "Show Us The Report." The website is simply showusthereport.com. Please sign that petition; it takes less than a minute.
